Comment on In this House, We Forget.
Z745812939054@lemmy.zip 15 hours agothere’s a lot of bleating over “vote 3rd party” or “vote your conscience,” yet none of them have brought a single goddamn thing to the table. and did you think jill stein (or whoever the fuck) was going to snap her fingers and put a stop to israel?
since i’m not going to flush my vote down the toilet, whether the candidate has more than a 0% chance of winning is a factor for me. and no, i will never stop shitting on 3rd party/ abstainers.

There are people out there on the ballot with anti-genocide stance. Why wouldn’t you vote for them in democratic primaries? Vote with your conscience.

i’m not telling you what to do. i’m telling you i’m not throwing my vote away on some nobody who has absolutely no chance of winning, primary or not.
i said it before and i’ll say it until i’m dead: everyone’s priority should have been to keep trump out of the white house. and here we are again. we not only have genocide in gaza, but also in america. and it’s going to get worse before it gets better. if it ever gets any better. it’s going to take generations to fix the fucking damage he’s done
so, not to be rude, but you can take your “vote your conscience” and shove it up your righteous ass. GTFO, seriously. people are getting murdered by ICE because they’re brown (or not even), among countless other catastrophic problems everyone is dealing with entirely because of trump, and if you want to sit there and say it would be the same or worse under harris, then you’re not supporting your point, you’re making yourself look dumb
