its not a scam per ce, but certain degrees are, this is what universities dont like to talk about. job prospects for some majors are pretty low, or dismal, something that colleges dont like to discuss. Our nearby CCs decided to make some of thier transferrable classes as hard as ivy leagu level of rigorousness, so this pretty much guaranteed to cause retaking of the class and making people stay longer as a cash cow(this is my hunch,), they said nearby UC will not accept certain classes because they wre to “easy” but the same classes at a state uni were much easier and they have problems transferring to another university, thats why i thought it was total bs, how would UC even know the toughness unless they are asking for the exams to look over

as i knew many people were thee for 4+years, and teachers know some others that are perpetually there, also CCs do not have any sort of “experience” like uni, so you are out of luck until you go toa 4-year uni
