Eh, it would have little effect in the US, though only for a decade or three. Once a new generation came along that wouldn’t fetishize the pewpew too much, and give ‘em enough time to sell/dispose of grandpa’s guns, I’m sure gun crimes would fall to levels similar to like, Australia.
