More guns equals more severe crimes, not necessarily more crime. It changes the nature of those who are willing to offend, not the number of people willing to offend. Not counting the act of resisting new laws as crime, anyways, otherwise every libertarian type that has a gun would immediately become a criminal in the gun ban situation. lol
