The view by share is more telling IMO:

• The top 1% have 32.5% of the wealth. This is up from 22.8% in 1990
• The 90-99% have 36.4% of the wealth. This is down from 38% in 1990
• The 50-90% have 28.8% of the wealth. This is down from 35.7% in 1990
• The fact that the bottom 50% have 2.3% of the wealth. This is down from 3.5% in 1990

The fact that 50% of our population has a single digit share of wealth is a travisty.

The only group growing share is the 1%. Their per capital numbers are eye-watering. The 90-99% do have about 4x the per capital wealth as the 50-90% group, but the top 1% are literally 10x that on a per capital basis. The top 0.1% are eye-watering wealthy compared to anyone else.
