Comment on Museums warn against charges for overseas tourists
theo@lemmy.world 3 days agoHow would you feel if this tourist tax was instead charged at the point of an overnight stay? I feel like this is the more common option across Europe, but also has been criticised pretty heavily.

I don’t like that either, culture should not be taxed.
We live in a world where everything we do is increasingly being turned into a for profit business. We should be allowed at least one safehaven.
