That’s the thing. Everything is always in the future. Everything’s always tomorrow. Everything is always over the horizon, and then everything will be as it should be. Life’s treated like an inconvenient, high maintenance gift we didn’t ask for. “Don’t fuck it up. Dont fuck it up. Always become. Never just be”
Look if I have an opportunity to transition I will. There’d be no reason not to. But I’d still be me. And that’s really all I want. I want to be me right now and then die when it’s time.

I’m just saying you are denying yourself a great deal of happiness. It’s not about reaching some idealized final state. It’s about living a life of joy instead of the alternative.
