Comment on For all the years it has existed, all the money spent on immigration and deportation why hasn't the US come up with a better system? And become an isolated country for a while to help itself?

Pro immigrant. We had this bakery down the block and they just cooked home made pies cupcakes. It existed for 40 years. And they were from Germany and were waiting on their green card or whatever. But do to some dumbass or maybe the system itself they got deported. And had 2 generations of kids also. Hell we were all immigrants at one time or another. Except Native Americans.
