The idea that credit is so important is an artifact of the system. Sharing is its own reward. Most so called inventions and discoveries are things that others have already done or will do anyway but get no credit for. This is from someone who has published peer reviewef papers and has many patents. I ٌstill believe the credit issueis largely bullish. The exception is that yeٌs you kind of have to play the game to work the system it is important for that reason.
