Comment on Minimum wage isn't survivable anymore

Meanwhile in a country with a reasonable minimum wage, approx £1800/month take home pay.

£900 mortgage, £180 council tax, £80 electricity, £22 internet, £5 phone, £60 food.

Water is paid twice a year, averages out to like £10 a month, its cheap enough I don’t pay much attention to it.

So about £500-600 left.

But I live with my partner, so half all of those costs by splitting it. Double phone/food.
