Comment on If I wrote a script for a movie and sent it off to a studio or whatever. What prevents the person who recieved it from claiming it as their own?

Because they would have to invent a writer and pay them anyway to pass WGA scrutiny, and a first time writer’s script is literally the cheapest thing the studio can buy.
