Because the United States is the primary consumer market for video games, different segments of American consumers tend to hold fixed, standardized value systems. By repeatedly intensifying and polarizing these values, companies can effectively boost sales, whether the values in question are woke ideology or far-right, it’s all same for the companies. From a non-American perspective, it all looks repetitive and formulaic, but to Americans, each iteration provides their respective groups with a sense of psychological gratification.

When you challenge, from a non-American perspective, ideas that Americans have been conditioned to accept over a long period of time, you are bound to face backlash. At that point, your business can only rely on non-American markets, and we ultimately find ourselves back at the issue of the U.S. dollar.
