Wednesday, January 3, 2024 - 1st shave of the year
- Prep: hot shower
- Brush: Simpson Chubby 2 Synthetic Fibre Shaving Brush, 27mm
- Razor: WCS Classic Collection Razor 84S, Stainless Steel, Closed Comb
- Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (3)
- Lather: Barrister & Mann - Leviathan - Shaving Soap
- Post Shave: Barrister & Mann - Leviathan - Aftershave Balm
First shave of the new year (I’ve been sick and haven’t felt up to it), and unfortunately it didn’t go well. It felt like it was going well throughout the shave, but I somehow ended up with a few small cuts on my neck. This razor is more aggressive than what I usually use, so I guess it’s not that surprising, but still unexpected.
