Comment on Reform councillor quits – but sends resignation letter to wrong council

Her resignation letter was shared by a local political group, Kidsgrove Independents, who claimed Ms Duffy handed it directly to the clerk of Kidsgrove Town Council.

Ms Duffy hit back at the publication of the letter, writing: “I am appalled that a private letter, provided in confidence to the Clerk of Kidsgrove Town Council

She didn’t send it to the wrong council. She hand delivered it!

The only solace to the rise in bigotry and fascism is their absolute idiocy and incompetence.

    We live in the information age, receiving a constant bombardment of information. Consequently we all miss details here and there, there’s just so much to take in and process all day every day, so there’s no need to feel shame. That’s why we’re on a social site discussing the information, so that collectively we can get more from these articles than we would do in isolated reading.
