moncharleskey@lemmy.zip 2 weeks agoI agree 100% and am all for a general strike, but without some sort of push I don’t know when it will happen. It’s like everyone is waiting around for The Signal, but is it even coming? Why should we give up our own autonomy and wait for someone else?

Quorum sensing is an important factor in processes of quantitative change reaching a point where qualitative change is possible. This is just how social dynamics work. You’re welcome to encourage more people to join the push for a general strike or other local organizing groups and parties, but a mass of people will be necessary to bring about qualitative changes.
