SpaceCowboy@lemmy.ca 1 day agoMy mother has the sudo password. It’s fine, she doesn’t mess with the command line unless I write an email saying “open terminal and copy and past this command into it…”
And even then I have to be on the phone with her to explain how to open the terminal. But that’s way easier than trying to explain how to navigate through a bunch of menus.

Agreed! It’s just way easier to explain “open that black box thingy here and then write what i sent ya”
Than “click this, then do that, click this, then write this here press windows and R, write this, the click that…”
