Frankly, I don’t think there is the framework to ip-Ban someone and in even in that case they could probably just use a VPN, I think the best thing is to just completely ignore him and not engage whatsoever. But of course it’s the internet. Good luck getting everyone to ignore him… Just keep reporting him to mods and move on I guess

Just a thought but, could they not ban vpns? Loads of other products like tv services do it

  Than I won’t be able to use Lemmy or PieFed. A lot of people here rely on VPN’s for privacy or security.

    I’m sorry, but I’m new to this platform, about 7 days. I’m neither aware of what words will get you banned, if any, nor was I aware that VPNs are widely used here. If I was then of course I wouldn’t have made the suggestion.
