        Thankfully thats above my concern. The millwrights will send a FAT bill to my plant manager. They/we took apart one of our smaller turbines for the once every 4 years full maintenance.

      Do bearings have to be round? Or in one piece? I say we chuck it back in and see what happens. Machine operators are so close-minded these days.

        These ones do have to be round to control the axial thrust on the steam turbine’s shaft.
