The test is set to a default time, between 12:00 and 12:05. It’s a leftover from the world war, so we have a national air raid alarm that was implemented in 1954 and gets tested every first Monday of the month around 12:00. The NL-alert coincides with that. You get used to it and it’s very weird if you don’t hear the alarm and you realise its the fist Monday of the month
