I had once the illusion that governments are for the people by the people. nowadays I think they are just an exercise of power over other countries in a perennial nations-scale darwinism. and there are no good countries. it’s literally everyone against everyone. in this context, the single, the family nucleus, are worth nothing unless it’s for diplomatic/promotional value. otherwise they are just cannon fodder either economically or militarly. if you feel alone they have won isolating you. connect with others (in the real world). in the word politics the suffix “poli” says that it’s an exercise of many. you probably won’t change anything, but at least it will feel better.
