Not all conservatives are gun positive. OP gained my curiosity after reading the question. But my best guess is it makes the company look bad. They have to answer to corporate and corporate usually would rather escape liability if an incident occurs. I wouldn’t feel unsafe driving a truck through a bad city, I mean I would just never get out unless it is where I need to deliver. Even then, most inner cities are different during the day vs the night.
