Nope. It was my flavor of weird when I was a kid. I loved the sequel, Blinx 2, which let you play as the Tom Tom Gang and customize your timesweepers/pig-men. The levels were all super cool too, like the ice caves or the Egyptian ruins. The whole “multiverse of time” thing was cool too.
