Comment on Nintendo says users voluntarily paid higher prices, have no right to tariff refunds
cheers_queers@lemmy.zip 1 week agothey used the tariffs as a reason for the higher price. the refund should also go to the consumer. nintendo did not lose any money on this, we did.

Right, I’m saying it should be both or neither. The argument Nintendo is making is the same argument the US government should use to deny Nintendo.
