NoneOfUrBusiness@fedia.io 1 week agoIt's the (what you consider to be) "inane shit" part that's the problem here, not the medium. I personally enjoy history podcasts, but more generally there's no shortage of non-inane podcasts out there.

I used blanket statements and some flippant hyperbole because I don’t like any podcasts I’ve tried, but I’m aware the medium itself isn’t the exact issue. It just lends itself to people filling the silence with banal chatter when there is nothing else to say.
