Adelaide is in the grips of a campaign to stop the state government chopping down trees in the Adelaide Parklands to upgrade an existing shared golf course/parkland for LIV Golf (it’s OK though because they promise not to make the land private…), and also in the eastern parklands for Moto GP. It’s inspired a lot of locals to get active in campaigns and politics for the first time.
