I think it depends a lot on the person? Where someone is career-wise (more established folks may care less about money per se), whether the desperately need more money, etc… Also depends on the proportion of the two, a 3% raise that requires 20% more effort probably won’t be worth it for most people

Myself, I don’t mind having a small but not insignificant raise over an easier job, but that’s largely because of my current life circumstances
