Comment on How do I contact the admin(s) of an instance?
HCSOThrowaway@lemmy.world 2 hours agoYeah lemmy.world is pretty clear, but I was hoping for a general how-to because most instances are not, including the instance I’m looking for the information for.
I’m moving from Reddit and trying to learn all the basics, and of course Reddit has the “Message the Moderators” button clearly visible on every subreddit.

Think of each instance as their own website that shares posts. You wouldn’t contact Bing because Google deprioritises your website.
There is no central Lemmy authority as that kinda goes against the idea of the fediverse decentralisation.
The best you can do is post about it on the various mod complaining communities.
