The really fun thing about solar is its just about cheap enough to build yourself.
Doesn’t really help the huge swathes of the country who rent and aren’t allowed to modify their homes (if they even have roofs)
Balcony solar exists and backyard solar is also an option. Of course in the USA several states are blocking balcony solar
