Comment on Supreme Court ruling mandating Healthcare workers - possibly religious exemptions are now allowed
iamtanmay@wolfballs.com 3 years agoOk, I am gonna blow your mind. But in this episode, they also say that they will be the ones writing the Terms of User Agreement for RUMBLE.......
That could certainly change things. Basically the CEO I think is aware of the backlash he is about to get, and is taking concrete steps too manage the situation.
I don't think Barnes has any reason to give his reputation up for some stupid CEO, so I am interested to see if it actually ends up how it was promised or not.

Personally, I don't care much for RUMBLE.... except for the fact that they now own Locals..... so I am hoping that at least this would preserve Locals as a distributed system for Free speech

Yeah i was just watching it. I like the way rumble is now. I personally don't care that they remove Hitler worshiping videos. I understand peoples issues with it. Hate speech will suddenly be redefined into what ever they want. They are gonna move to Florida which will help. We still need federated alternatives so there is always somewhere to go but I hope they can become a legitimate competitor to YouTube which is awful

I only watch Rumble for Barnes.... rest of the time, Oddyssee. Video quality and content is great till SEC kills it.
Locals was a great Patreon killer. I hope it survives or is replace open source. Hopefully with Bitcoin and GabPay, IMHO the best thing Torba did.
I am really excited to see how the sign ups for that open op. Right now there is a waiting line, but hopefully once they get running really well, I will be able to do all online business through them :)
