Apparently one senator, Pauline Hanson, described the trans movement as a “trans insurgency” akin to radical islamic insurgency.

Unfortunately for her, “trans insurgency” kinda goes hard af. So another senator, Penny Allman-Payne of the greens, has co-opted the term positively.
