JohnnyCanuck@lemmy.ca 3 weeks agoIt does have lubricating properties as it leaves an oily film. But, that film is thin and temporary which is why you shouldn’t use wd-40 as a lubricant.

You can very well use it as a lubricant but only in situations where lubrication is required temporarily :)
