A Microsoft game wasn’t optimized for Linux? Tell me more…
FH6 has such amazing controls, by far my favorite entry in the series, but my god the optimization sucks, at least on Proton. 5070 Ti wit+ a Ryzen 5 7600x and hitting over 70% utilization for medium graphics, descaled, at 48 FPS, and it frequently crashes.

I’m not a software engineer but I don’t think “running on unintended system configurations” is an optimization consideration

Yes you did. It’s incredibly well optimized

I never said it was a consideration. Also, from what I’ve read, people are having issues across the board with nVidia hardware on FH6, whether running Windows or Linux. Hell even Xbox is having issues. Not sure why you’re so worked up over this.
