I mean… if you think “the walls were covered in a weird glowing moss, giving the an area an strange glow,” is writing worth your time, go nuts.
In the first 50 pages the protagonist has a “boss fight” with an imprisoned, mentally ill woman of color and murders her. I thought maybe the author was setting up some BIG THEMES but nah, just video game lulz.
