That’s seems to be the formula. Especially when they’re targeting younger demographics or quite frankly simpletons. Normal + crazy = extremist cultures. Nobody can get through to the cult followers because they’re lead to believe you’re trying argue against the normal thing when trying to explain that they’re misled about the crazy thing.
