Is it? I feel like a fairly regular person and am considering them. Only had the house a couple of years, already replaced the boiler with a heat pump.
Shame the roof isn’t south facing but panels would still work. Also thinking of a battery.

Yeah that is the sort of price I was expecting. How much for solar alone out of curiosity? Not looked at that as much, and not sure how much load I could shift to daytime, suppose you could just set some things to daytime without even checking the solar output and on average the solar will cover a good chunk of their usage. It just goes against my instinct to minmax it.
I wonder how much power they make in winter, could set the heating (heat pump) higher during the day to benefit from generally having some of the power coming from solar
