Comment on 30 seconds after an "Anarchist" brings up Israel:

A few days ago, I had a discussion whether or not to invite explicitly zionist orgs to an antinational event.

While I argued that being zionist and antinational are mutually-exclusive, I received the weird comment that “you don’t have to focus your antinationalism on the only jewish state and refuge”.

Bitch, it’s not me who’s focussing on “the jewish state”, it’s you who’s bending over backwards to protect a genocidal, imperialist power because your grandpa was a nazi!

    Antisemitism is bad. Antisemitism is when Nazis gas Jews in Auschwitz.
    
    That‘s a widespread opinion, also among the left. Leftists typically consider themselves immune from antisemitism because they aren’t Nazis and the good guys. They are ignorant about the difference between antisemitism and racism.
    
    They will of course remember Auschwitz performatively, and invoke it as a political tool whenever convenient.
    
    People Love Dead Jews because they don’t speak up, aren’t annoying, can be used to virtue signal, and as political tool.
    
    A great quote by Israeli psychoanalyst Zvi Rex fits here as.

    Antisemitism is when Jews are attacked for being Jews.
    
    It can happen and happens outside of the holocaust and should be taken seriously.
    
    There is the misunderstanding you said and also some Germans famously know as anti-Deutsche or antigermans that are of the opinion that any criticism of the actions of the Israeli government is antisemitism because it is a Jewish ethnostate. They also sometimes/often think that the Germans are antisemitic by their existence and bloodline
