Given the track record of forgein films remade by the US. I would say it has a very high probability if being terrible

Right? Nearly every movie/series is much better before it gets Americanized. Only exception I can think of at this second is The Office.

Even then, better is debatable. They are two very different types of comedy. I will admit the US office is a more palatable one you can binge watch. The UK office I need to take a break after an episode because I’ll reach dangerously high levels of cringe otherwise
