No, three consecutive terms would be more than two consecutive terms.

You’re missing their point. More is ambiguous in that sentence. It can be defined as consecutive like you have, or it can be defined as anything more than two consecutive terms. Since Obama has had two consecutive terms, any term now would be beyond two consecutive terms even though that term itself is not consecutive.

What conservstives are really good at is injecting something that doesn’t exist like ‘consecutive’ in the number of terms so that people argue about it as if it is actually important. I was being cheeky, you are validating their bullshit by acting like it matters.

I’m not validating anything. Just clearing up the confusion. You two were talking past each other. But now that you realize you were mistaken you’ve decided to attack me.
Sure, but if we’re really splitting hairs it wouldn’t be more than two consecutive terms until after he has served his second consecutive term to completion. Otherwise it’s just a consecutive partial term.
Ultimately like you said it’s all stupid and obviously not how it is written.
Consecutive isn’t even mentioned in the text. There really isn’t even wiggle room for interpretation.
