I think if I was allowed only one pedal and setting, it would be the one J Mascis uses for his solos. It just ticks my box every time.

I donât know but I found thisâŚ
famous for his massive wall-of-sound, largely driven by the Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi pedal, specifically vintage âRamâs Headâ models. He often uses it for both rhythm and lead, valuing its clarity, while stacking it with various fuzz and overdrive pedals for complex, high-gain tones.
I stood infront of his of amp stack at Golden Plains 2010. Was so sweet.
