Majority of people are either pardo (mixed white/black/indigenous) or white indigenous population is less than 1%). First mixed race president was in 1909.
Argentina
80ish% European descent 16% indigenous
Also it’s worth pointing out that both countries speak European languages and are majority Catholic.

Yeah hadn’t realized the spanish/portuguese thing, assumed indigenous folk spoke it but I realize it’s usually some different native thing.
