Comment on Whats the best way to clean up 15 years of stuff around the house?
Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 5 days agoi dont think your a hoarder, a hoarder would not think about these things, they find it uncomfortable to even consider it. they dont see what t hey are hoarding as a PROBLEM, it includes TRASH on the floor they dont bother to clean it up, plus you will see them pick up random boxes, and used furniture and never uses it themselves, and leaves in whatever room.

I didn’t claim to be a full blown hoarder, I said I used to be somewhat of a hoarder. OP also said they didn’t have that extreme of a problem with hoarding either so thought it could still be worth sharing what helped me.
