Known each other for years through mutual friends. One day I asked “so how’s Boyo doing?” to the friend and she set up a group dinner after which I thought he hated me. After some messaging and a bout of illness we got our shit together and met up for coffee in which I verbal vomited the shit show that was my life. Somehow he thought that was pretty cool.
