We actually know very little about the new weapons. Probably because they are far from finished. ArenaNet is coming in hot ….
Please note that since this is a beta test, there will be placeholder UI, art, and audio assets for some of the weapon skills.

Ironically both weapons have their places in melee. :D Longbow 2+5 are being used in Ranger rotations IIRC and not only does Mirage GS Pewpew not care about range, several builds don’t mind the damage reduction because you cast everything besides the auto attack, including ultimates, before switching back to sword or dagger.
But I get what you went for!
