I work in IT, so I use my phone to close tickets and otherwise diagnose issues (unless I need my laptop for those). Outside of work, though, I can see the benefits of doing a social media fast, although I would like to say that I use social media substantially less than I did when I had TikTok on my phone.

What I would like to do, eventually, is be able to recognize when I’m doom scrolling and to then instead go listen to an audiobook, watch a TV show, play a video game, or work on a personal project.
