The internet used to be so much more open. Now we all congregate on like a handful of sites.

One of the best things about browsing the web as a kid was a new website to find. They were all different because there were no standards. Some were an absolute mess and some were straight up art.

Not to mention all the little hidden gems people would stick around these sites as Easter Eggs. It as so much fun. These days it’s all business as usual 😑
