It actually sounds like you might need a little dose of forced empathy based on your post and comments. I understand you are angry about this, but thinking that they must be immigrants or dog/ child abusers because they left their lights on? That’s not normal. Get yourself better curtains or consider moving to a different apartment before you do something stupid that you’ll regret when you grow up.

  I dont think they’re dog abusers or at least my point was about wielding a large wifebeater type dog trying to intimidate me
