Touching_Grass@lemmy.world 10 months agoThat is a bribe. That isn’t what lobbying is exclusively. Lobbying is bringing your issue to politician to influence them to fight for you. Corrupt lobbyist will bribe to influence the politician. But you’re mixing up a subset of what it is with the whole. Lobbying is what groups fighting for abortion rights and civil action do every day.

No, a bribe is an illegal form if lobbying. It is not lobbying. Do you agree? If not I can give you examples of lobbying that is not bribery. and if you can’t understanding that then you’re not reasonable and just a waste of energy.
