Reaper also runs on Linux
And I loved Reaper dearly, until Bitwig
I currently use Reaper, should I switch? I’ve never even heard of it, is it new?
No, keep using Reaper, it’s absolutely one of the best DAWs in existence IMO. Made and released a few albums with it.
I cut my teeth on FL and Ableton, and Bitwig is very Ableton-like. It also has a native Linux version, which is what sold me.
But it’s pretty expensive and really only worth it if you know it’s what you want.
