This was a test shave of a fresh Arkansas edge on this Union razor. I bought t his razor for $12, so I don’t expect a lot. My goal was to have a comfortable edge that has the personality of the Arkansas stone and provides a close shave. Comfort was definitely there in the shave, and closeness exceeded my expectations. I’d say this shave test was a success.
