Do âlactose freeâ dairy products upset anyone else? I donât think itâs a protein allergy but who knows.
(I drink soy milk but the fake vegan cheese is incredibly expensive and has no nutritional value.)

I have a milk protein allergy thats related to the fat % of cows milk. I was diagnosed with a âcows milk allergyâ as a child. My dad ended up hand milking goats it was that bad. As Iâve gotten older I realised it had more to do with the % percentage, so I can tolerate small amounts of skim and low fat dairy products, but if Iâm going to consume a bit more I make it low fat lactose free and that also doesnât affect me the way full fat dairy does. My issue has never been digestive, it was immune and migranes.
The Aldi tub Goats cheese is lovely and cheap too and most hard cheeses tend to have lower lactose levels.
